Attendees of all ages are welcome to attend VidCon. Depending on your age, you may or may not need a chaperone in order to attend. Please see below:
Children 8 & under:
Children 8 years old & under do not need a ticket but must be accompanied by an adult (18+) who has purchased a ticket to attend VidCon.
Children between the ages of 9 and 15:
Children between the ages of 9 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times. Reduced cost Chaperone tickets are available for adults chaperoning attendees participating in the Community Track. This ticket provides access to all Community Track content with the exception of meet & greets. Please note that the Chaperone Track only offers Community Track access, therefore if the child has purchased a Creator or Industry Track ticket, the accompanying adult must purchase a ticket of the same type.
Children 16 or older:
Children 16 or older are not required to be accompanied by a chaperone if it's OK with their parent/guardian. If a parent/guardian would like to accompany their child in any capacity, they need a ticket to attend VidCon. If the parent/guardian is OK with being in the Parents Lounge and in the vicinity of the event, they do not need a ticket. Adults without tickets will not have access to any panels, the Expo Hall, concerts, etc.
Please note that while VidCon is an all-ages event, what is considered age-appropriate varies greatly from parent to parent. If you are a parent accompanying a minor to VidCon, we encourage you to check out some of the content your child is interested in and build your agenda based on your own preferences. That being said, there are plenty of sessions and activities for attendees of all ages!
